SwingLEAP
Trade planner and journal for swing and LEAP options — plans, targets, journal, P&L, and goals in one place.

Quick verdict
SwingLEAP
A good fit if you trade swing or LEAP options and want your trade plans, targets and journal in one place. Skip it if you need a live options chain with Greeks, stock picks, or a review based on hands-on testing (this one is built from SwingLEAP's public pages).

Pricing
Public plan cards on swingleap.io/pricing (checked 2026-10-01, public-material review, not hands-on): Starter $19.99/mo; Trader $29.99/mo; Wealth Builder $39.99/mo. Yearly: $179.88, $239.88, $359.88. No free plan; only Wealth Builder shows a 3-day trial. Confirm on the official site before you pay.
Public-material review. This page is based on SwingLEAP’s public marketing pages, pricing, How-To guides, Academy guides, About/Contact/Legal pages, and sitemap-listed product pages (capture 2026-09-29). Find Trading Tools (FTT) has not tested the logged-in SwingLEAP app hands-on. Do not read any screen, workflow, or feature below as something we opened inside a signed-in account. Claims are attributed to what SwingLEAP publishes.
Verdict
SwingLEAP (swingleap.io) is options trade-planning and journaling software aimed at swing and LEAP traders. Its homepage says it helps you “Turn Your Trading Ideas Into a Disciplined System” — plan trades, track execution, review historical performance, and stay on targets in one place. SwingLEAP says it is not a stock picker, not a brokerage, and not a trading terminal with live chains, Greeks, or order flow.
Public pages describe a workflow that starts before the fill: stocks and underlying targets → alerts → trade plans → actual trades → journal → P&L → goals → wealth scenarios. Pricing cards on swingleap.io/pricing (checked 2026-10-01) list Starter $19.99/mo, Trader $29.99/mo, and Wealth Builder $39.99/mo. There’s no free plan. Paying yearly costs $179.88, $239.88 and $359.88.
This is a directory listing of process / journal software, not a brokerage, not a signal service, and not investment advice. SwingLEAP’s FAQ answers: it does not recommend stocks, does not execute brokerage trades, and does not provide live option pricing as part of the core V1 product. We are not saying SwingLEAP is the best journal or the best LEAP tool. We are not saying it will make a strategy profitable.
Best for
- Journal options performance when the public product story is plan + actual journal for swing or LEAP options, not a scanner-first tool. SwingLEAP’s journal and trade-tracker pages describe planned vs actual vs variance, multiple entries, average-down tracking, multiple/partial exits, and P&L with proportional fee allocation as vendor copy.
- Traders who already bring their own tickers and thesis. About and homepage copy: no recommendations, screeners, or signals — you choose every ticker.
- Underlying entry/exit targets with alerts. Public how-to: up to three entry and three exit targets per stock on the underlying; weekday checks; in-app, email, and push channels (email alerts described as paid).
- Broker file imports on paid plans. Pricing compare table: broker imports on Trader and Wealth Builder. How-to names CSV / Excel / HTML / XML with review-before-save, and lists Robinhood, Webull, Fidelity, and Charles Schwab.
- Goal and wealth-scenario surfaces on higher plans. Pricing: quarterly & annual goals on Trader; Wealth Builder adds compounding scenarios and custom goals/milestones (vendor: scenario calculator — not a forecast).
That is a fit map from SwingLEAP’s public pages. It is not a claim that using SwingLEAP improves returns, and it is not a hands-on confirmation of any logged-in screen.
Skip if
- You want SwingLEAP to be the broker or a live options terminal. Vendor copy: no funds held, no orders placed, no live chains / Greeks / order flow as the product center.
- You want stock picks, ranked “best trades,” or live option pricing in V1. FAQ: no stock recommendations; live option pricing “not as part of the core V1 product.”
- You want a free plan, or broker imports on the cheapest plan. There’s no free plan, and the pricing compare table starts broker imports and multiple entries and exits on Trader. Starter has limited plans and journal and 5 stocks.
- You need verified Canadian-listed coverage or named Canadian broker import formats. Public import how-to names US retail brokers only. Canadian broker support stays unverified — see Canada note.
- You need a hands-on FTT walkthrough of the signed-in app. This review did not open a logged-in seat. Prefer vendors whose FTT pages say we tested in-app, or verify yourself after signup.

Also stated on public pages (not separate offers stickers here):
- Monthly and yearly billing on pricing. The vendor FAQ says you can switch billing frequency from Settings once subscribed. Yearly saves $60 on Starter and $120 on Trader and Wealth Builder, as shown.
- AI Insights add-on described on the Goals/Wealth how-to: Wealth Builder users can purchase AI Insights at $10/month (up to 20 credits/month); vendor marks it educational and says it does not tell you what to buy or sell. Confirm current add-on terms on the official site — not added as a standing directory offer card.
- Vendor FAQ: Wealth Simulator is a mathematical scenario calculator, not a forecast; tax figures are estimates, not tax advice.

How it works
Described from public homepage workflow, How-To guides, and product pages — not from a logged-in session.
- Add stocks and targets. How-to: My Stocks; up to three entry and three exit targets on the underlying; weekday monitoring (~15-minute schedule per how-to); alerts link back so you act at your own broker.
- Write a trade plan. How-to: strategy, contract (strike/expiration), capital, entry/exit levels, thesis; convert a plan into an open trade when the setup triggers (plan removed from plan list after convert, per how-to).
- Record actual trades / journal. Homepage and journal pages: multiple entries, partial exits, execution and underlying prices, planned vs actual variance.
- Import broker files (paid). Upload CSV/Excel/HTML/XML → review mapping → confirm. Nothing saved until you confirm, per homepage and how-to. Named supported brokers on the import how-to: Robinhood, Webull, Fidelity, Charles Schwab.
- Review P&L and setups. Vendor: historical results by ticker, strategy, account, and trade type; realized results framing on marketing shots.
- Goals and wealth scenarios. Assign trades to quarterly / 1-year / 2-year goals; Wealth Builder adds compounding scenarios and (per how-to) optional AI Insights add-on.
What SwingLEAP says it is not
Homepage “Not a …” block: not a stock picker; not a brokerage; not a trading terminal; “not just a journal” because plans, targets, goals, and wealth scenarios connect to what happened.
Watch-outs
- Public pages only. FTT has not tested signup, billing, imports, alerts, or journal UX inside a logged-in account. Marketing mock UIs on the homepage are vendor illustrations, not our screenshots of your account.
- Not a broker; not live chains/Greeks/flow. Closing a journal entry is not order routing.
- No free plan. Starter at $19.99 a month is the cheapest plan, with 5 stocks, limited plans and journal, and no broker imports on the compare table. Only Wealth Builder shows a trial.
- Named import brokers are US retail names on one how-to. Do not infer Questrade, Wealthsimple, or other Canadian formats — unverified.
- Tax and wealth numbers are estimates / scenarios, per vendor FAQ and Terms — not advice and not forecasts.
- No public affiliate / partner program found —
affiliate_urlstays empty. - No verified first-party YouTube channel or demo video found for SwingLEAP on capture day (channel URLs we tried returned not found; search did not surface an official SwingLEAP walkthrough to embed). Social profile URLs were not confirmed as active public brand accounts from the materials we could retrieve.
Pros and cons
Sourced from public pages only. We do not invent partner payouts or user counts.
Pros (as published)
- Clear Starter, Trader and Wealth Builder prices with a public compare table.
- Process story spans plan → journal → P&L → goals, aimed at swing and LEAP holders.
- Broker file import described with review-before-save; several US brokers named on the how-to.
- Explicit “not a broker / not a stock picker / not live pricing in V1” framing on FAQ and marketing.
- Academy and How-To libraries document intended workflows in public HTML.
Cons / gaps (as published or unverified here)
- Logged-in app behavior unverified by FTT.
- No free plan. Starter excludes broker imports and multiple entries and exits per the compare table.
- Live option pricing not part of core V1 (vendor FAQ).
- Canadian-listed coverage and Canadian broker formats unverified.
- Full alert behavior by plan not fully expanded beyond the pricing table and notification how-to.

Prefer SwingLEAP’s public story when pre-trade plans + post-trade journal for swing/LEAP is the job. Prefer Option Samurai when scanning structures is the job and a light trade log is enough. Prefer Options Matrix Pro when a live visualizer / matrix is the job. Prefer OptionStrat or CallPutHub when seeing the payoff diagram is the job. None of those rows is advice to switch.
Related job: journal options performance. For payoff neighbors, see OptionStrat alternatives.

FAQ
- Is SwingLEAP free?
- No. SwingLEAP’s pricing page doesn’t list a free plan (checked 2026-10-01). The cheapest plan is Starter at $19.99 a month, with 5 stocks, 1 trading account, limited trade plans, a limited journal, basic P&L, basic goals and limited alerts. Starter and Trader ($29.99 a month) show no trial and bill from sign-up. Wealth Builder ($39.99 a month) shows a 3-day free trial for eligible first subscribers, then the monthly price. Paying yearly costs $179.88 for Starter, $239.88 for Trader and $359.88 for Wealth Builder. Confirm on swingleap.io/pricing before you pay. This review used public pages only. FTT hasn’t tested the logged-in app.
- Does SwingLEAP import broker trades?
- SwingLEAP’s public FAQ says V1 supports CSV/file imports for supported brokers, and the pricing compare table shows broker imports on Trader and Wealth Builder (not Starter). Its how-to page “How to Import Your Broker Trades Into SwingLEAP” says to upload CSV, Excel, HTML or XML, review mapped fields, then commit; it names Robinhood, Webull, Fidelity and Charles Schwab as supported. Imports are described as review-before-save. Named Canadian broker formats (Questrade, Wealthsimple, TD Direct Investing, Interactive Brokers Canada, and similar) are not stated on the public pages we reviewed — Canadian broker import support stays unverified. FTT has not run an import inside a logged-in account.
- Is SwingLEAP good for LEAP options?
- SwingLEAP markets itself for SWING and LEAP options traders. Public product and Academy pages describe long-dated LEAP planning (thesis, targets, entries/exits, multiple entries and partial exits, historical P&L review) as a process/record-keeping job — not a stock picker, not a broker, and not live option pricing as part of the core V1 product (vendor FAQ). Whether it fits your LEAP process is a personal fit call; this directory does not rank tools and has not tested the logged-in app hands-on. Confirm on swingleap.io and the LEAP product/Academy pages.
- What does SwingLEAP cost / SwingLEAP pricing?
- SwingLEAP’s pricing page (checked 2026-10-01) lists Starter at $19.99 a month, Trader at $29.99 a month and Wealth Builder at $39.99 a month. Paying yearly costs $179.88, $239.88 and $359.88. There’s no free plan. Starter is the limited plan: 5 stocks and limited plans and journal. Trader adds fuller plans and journal, multiple entries and exits, broker imports, P&L tracking, alerts, quarterly and annual goals, and basic tax estimates as listed on that page. Wealth Builder adds compounding and wealth scenarios, advanced P&L analytics, custom goals and milestones, and after-tax goal tracking as listed. Only Wealth Builder shows a trial (3 days, first subscription only). A separate AI Insights add-on at $10 a month is described on a public how-to page for Wealth Builder users, so confirm current add-on terms on the official site. Standing offers on this directory keep the three monthly prices only.
- Is SwingLEAP a broker?
- No. SwingLEAP’s own site states it does not provide brokerage services and does not execute trades. Public copy frames it as a planning and record-keeping / trade discipline system. Privacy copy says it does not connect to your brokerage or place trades. Do not treat this page as a how-to for placing trades.
